Justice Eva Guzman Named Liaison at Access to Justice Commission Reception
Chief Justice Nathan Hecht introduced Justice Eva Guzman as the liaison to both the Access to Justice Commission (Texas ATJC) and the Access to Justice Foundation (Texas ATJF) at a reception hosted by the Texas ATJC at the State Bar’s Annual Meeting in Austin on June 26. Family Eldercare's Larson honored with 2014 Boots on the Ground Award
Austin attorney Christine P. “Chris” Larson is the 2014 recipient of the James B. Sales Boots on the Ground Award. The annual award, which recognizes exemplary pro bono or legal services program attorneys, was presented May 13 in Austin during the 2014 Champions of Justice Gala Benefiting Veterans.
