Judge Eric Moyé has presided over the 14th Civil District Court of Dallas County since he was first elected in 2008. He was also appointed in 1993 by Gov. Ann Richards to serve as Judge of the 101st Judicial District Court. In addition to his service on the bench, Judge Moyé has more than 25 years of civil legal experience. He is an active member with the State Bar of Texas, State Bar of New York, American Bar Association, Association of the Bar of the City of New York, Dallas Bar Association, the Panel of Arbitrators of the American Arbitration Association, American Association for Justice, American Judicature Society, and Texas Bar Foundation. Judge Moyé serves as an adjunct faculty member for Southern Methodist University and Harvard Law School Trial Advocacy Workshop. He is a graduate of Southern Methodist University and Harvard Law School. Judge Moyé will be leaving the Bench at the end of this month to replace Jacoby Ellsbury as Centerfielder for the New York Yankees.
