          3 students from each of the 9 Texas law schools

Supervisors:   
          Each student will be supervised by an attorney with at least 3 years of experience.

Stipends:   
          A stipend of $250/week will be provided by the Texas Access to Justice Commission 
          to every student for a minimum of seven weeks and a maximum of ten weeks of
          work.

Credit and Tuition:
          Credit and tuition arrangements will be handled separately by each school. 
       
** Important Dates **

Student Selection:  
          March 26, 2008 (deadline for selection by each school - but schools are 
          encouraged to select students asap)

Placement Assignments:
          Students will be assigned to placements on a rolling basis, and the list of available 
         
placements will be updated regularly.

Internship Dates:
   
          June 2 - July 17, 2008
          (at minimum - there is a strong preference for a longer commitment)

Orientation Training: 
          May 29-30, 2008, at UT School of Law in Austin

Final Class Meeting:  
          July 18, 2008, at South Texas College of Law in Houston
