The Texas Access to Justice Commission is committed to enhancing resources for, and effecting policy favorable to the delivery of legal services to low-income Texans. The Commission will work diligently on key state and federal issues that will help more Texans exercise their right to equal justice.

You can show your support of civil Legal Aid and help make access to justice a reality in Texas by doing one or more of the following:

1. Call, e-mail or write your legislator.  Let your senators, representatives and congressmen know that legal services to the poor are a priority to you as a voter!

2. Write or e-mail your local newspaper.  Send letters to the editor of your local newspaper to inform them of the importance of Legal Aid in Texas. Or write a guest editorial!

3. Spread the word.  Share the importance of access to justice and the work of the Commission with friends, family, coworkers, colleagues and others. Encourage them to show their support of Legal Aid!

Share your story: E-mail us your story about how you helped Legal Aid or how Legal Aid helped you! Please indicate in the body of the email whether we have your permission to use your story in publicity materials.
