The Texas Access to Justice Commission was created by order of the Supreme Court of Texas on April 26, 2001. The Court and the State Bar of Texas are each responsible for making appointments to the Commission. The staff of Texas Lawyers Care, a program of the State Bar, serves as the Commission’s staff.
